Stocks plunged news: Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Tuesday’s session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 694.39 points up at 79476.63 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Superior Finlease(down 11.91 per cent), Parker Agrochem(down 10.82 per cent), Kahan Packaging(down 10.62 per cent), Maan Aluminium(down 9.99 per cent) and Indong Tea Co(down 9.96 per cent) stood among the top losers in today’s trade.

In the Nifty pack, 39 stocks closed in the green, while 11 stocks ended in the red.

The index closed 217.96 points at 24213.3.

On the BSE, Ola Electric Mobilit, Rajnish Wellness, Garuda Construction, Star Health and Popular Vehicles hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Omansh Enterprises, Modern Dairies, Dhoot Ind, Amrapali Ind and Waaree Energies touched their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade.
