NEW DELHI: JP Power(number of shares traded: 10.62 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 8.27 crore), GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 5.46 crore), RattanIndia Power (number of shares traded: 3.40 crore), Alok Industries(number of shares traded: 2.53 crore), PC Jeweller(number of shares traded: 2.37 crore), Magellanic Cloud(number of shares traded: 2.28 crore), Excel Realty N Infra(number of shares traded: 2.14 crore), Ola Electric Mobility Ltd.(number of shares traded: 2.10 crore) and Axis Bank(number of shares traded: 1.88 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:21AM in Friday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 153.61 points down at 24957.85, while BSE Sensex was down 520.57 points at 81738.67 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Wipro Ltd.(up 2.54 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 1.07 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 0.81 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 0.20 per cent) and IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 0.06 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Axis Bank Ltd.(down 4.09 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 2.02 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 1.92 per cent), Bharat Electronics Ltd.(down 1.38 per cent) and Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 1.30 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
