NEW DELHI: Avance Tech(numbers of share traded: 3.69 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 3.55 crore), Srestha Finvest(numbers of share traded: 3.03 crore), ARC Finance(numbers of share traded: 1.60 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 1.37 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 1.21 crore), Jackson Invest.(numbers of share traded: 1.19 crore), Advik Capital(numbers of share traded: 0.98 crore), Alstone Textiles(numbers of share traded: 0.89 crore) and Franklin Industries(numbers of share traded: 0.81 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 51.15 points down at 24148.2, while BSE Sensex ended 55.47 points at 79486.32.
On the other hand, Trent Ltd.(down 3.18 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 2.60 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(down 2.59 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(down 2.24 per cent) and Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 2.03 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
