All parts involved in the process feared that Rodrygo could’ve suffered a serious ankle injury, as he left the field just a handful of minutes after that tackle. Rodrygo was in pain but the tests revealed that he has escaped a serious injury.
Rodrygo just completed an underwhelming Copa America like the rest of the Brazilian national team. He started in all four games for the Canarinha and failed to score or assist in any of the goals Brazil scored during the tournament.
The attacker will have more competition for minutes this upcoming season and he could even become a reserve after Los Blancos completed the signing of Kyilian Mbappe. He faces a very important season.
