Another Night at the Bernabeu

Los Blancos stumbled during the game but the scoreline hardly flattered the boys in white. There was one team on the pitch for almost the entire match. Vinicius came one and won the game with a stunning cameo.. In case anyone forgot who Vinicius was.

Hopefully Carlo will keep rotating. The players will largely play the same roles anyway so it will be good in the long run.

Kylian Mbappé, Team Player

For all the complaints about Mbappé eating away at the space and efficacy of his teammates, Kylian has been very keen to accommodate his teammates. We’ve not seen the superstar ego. Instead we’ve seen a guy who looks like he’s been with the team for a while. A special player.

The goals will always come because he’s that good. 34 goals until he reaches 40 for the season. I’m not betting against him.

RodryGoes, First Touch Merchant

Dribbling merchant. Assist merchant. Tap-in merchant. In-form merchant.. The boy is doing the business. Long may it continue. The rotations will be more important for his form but it will help the team more this season. Rodrygo looks more mature out there compared to last season. He may be ready to make the jump to the next level.

HEY JUDE, BALLINGHAM

You get special players and then you get Real Madrid players. Jude was born to play for Real Madrid. He’s going to get even better as the season progresses.

Absolutely incredible how he is still in one piece. Still playing at the highest level. El Capitan indeed.
