Real Madrid face FC Twente in matchday 3 of UEFA Women’s Champions League. Las Blancas await the Dutch team at home in hopes of achieving their second win in the UWCL this season.
Both Twente and Real Madrid have won one of their two group stage matches so far, winning against Celtic and losing against Chelsea. Las Blancas are in second place ahead of Twente for higher goal difference. The two teams will face each other twice in one week, the first leg being played on the 13th in Madrid and the second leg on the 20th in Enschede.
The manager was asked about the squad availability in the pre-match press conference.
“Toletti is already with the group. Today we have the last training session and, if nothing happens, she will return to the squad. In the case of Antonia, she’s had a small problem and won’t be available. Shei is very close to returning again. You already know about Athenea. All those who are available are ready to play and do well,” Alberto Toril speaks in the press conference ahead of the game against Twente.
The kick-off is on Wednesday, November 13th, at 18:45 CET (12:45 pm ET) on Alfredo Di Stefano.
