Real Madrid have announced the extension of Dani Carvajal’s contract until the summer of 2026 via an official statement published on the team’s website.
Real Madrid C. F. announces that, as planned, it has agreed with Dani Carvajal to extend the contract of our player, who is now linked to the club until June 30, 2026.
Carvajal joined Real Madrid in 2002 at just 10 years old and played in all categories of our youth system from Alevín B to Castilla in 2010. On May 12, 2004, he was part of an iconic moment in our history, laying the first stone of the Real Madrid City alongside the then honorary president, Alfredo Di Stéfano.
Since 2013, he has been part of the first team, and in his twelve seasons defending our shirt, he has become a legend of Real Madrid and world football. With Real Madrid, he has won 26 titles in 427 matches: 6 Champions League titles, 5 Club World Cups, 5 UEFA Super Cups, 4 La Ligas, 2 Copa del Rey titles, and 4 Supercopa de España titles. Carvajal is one of five players who have won 6 European Cups.
At Wembley on June 1, he was named the best player of the Champions League final, in which Real Madrid won its fifteenth European Cup. Carvajal is also a legend of the Spanish national team, with which he has been capped 50 times. With the Spain shirt, he has won 1 European Championship, 1 Nations League, 1 U-21 European Championship, and 1 U-19 European Championship.

Real Madrid and Carvajal had already reached an agreement over this extension before Carvajal’s devastating knee injury and the club ultimately decided to honor this agreement and reward the player’s legacy and commitment as a madridista.
