OFFICIAL: Camavinga out around three weeks with hamstring injury

Real Madrid have published a medical report on midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, who will miss around three weeks with a hamstring injury he sustained during the win against Celta de Vigo in the Copa del Rey’s Round of 16 last night.

Following tests carried out today on Eduardo Camavinga by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in his left hamstring. His recovery will be assessed.

Camavinga will surely miss the next two Champions League games against Red Bull Salzsburg and Brest, and his potential return could take place when Real Madrid take on Atletico de Madrid in a crucial Madrid Derby on February 9th.

The French midfielder picked up this injury during the extra-time played on Thursday, and while he was able to stay on the field, he now will need to spend a few weeks recovering from this tricky hamstring injury.
