About the Opportunity
Square Yards is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to join our Legal & Compliance team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the legal field.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, vet, and redline various legal documents, including different kinds of agreements such as lease agreement, Service agreements, and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) etc.
- Conduct legal research and provide concise summaries on relevant legal issues.
- Assist with the preparation of legal documents.
- Maintain organized records of all legal documents and correspondence.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the legal department.
- Strong understanding of contract law and Business laws (Companies Act, NIA and Arbitration laws).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
Eligibility Criteria
Pursuing/Completed LLB degree.
Stipend
INR 15,000/- per month
