In the wake of Real Madrid’s dominant 4-0 victory over Osasuna, former club legend Guti has urged the team to bring back Sergio Ramos to bolster their injury-ravaged defense. With Eder Militao’s season-ending ACL injury confirmed—his second such injury in just 18 months—Los Blancos face a growing defensive crisis. Dani Carvajal and David Alaba are also sidelined, leaving Real Madrid thin at the back.
Speaking on DAZN, Guti made a case for Ramos’ return:

You can go to the market and if you really want to bring one in, paying a lot of money, knowing that he is a player for the next 10 years, go and bring him in. But in December you can bring in a patch if you don’t know how things will go or if you will have him the following year. I think you have it clear: Sergio.”
Ramos, a free agent since leaving Sevilla in the summer, has expressed his desire to continue playing. With over a decade of experience at Real Madrid, including 22 major titles and a reputation as a leader, Ramos could provide immediate reinforcement and experience to Ancelotti’s backline, but the possibility remains complicated as his relationship with president Florentino Perez is not on the best of terms.
