It was Kylian Mbappe’s best game in a Real Madrid shirt thus far, and it couldn’t has tasted any sweeter. As Carlo Ancelotti’s men comfortably slayed Pep Guardiola’s City, and thus, sinking their biggest European rival of the last four years, a lot of ‘last laughs’ were had — particularly in response to the “Stop crying your heart out” banner that City fans put out at the Etihad in the first leg.
After Mbappe’s second goal, where he barbecued Josko Gvardiol, he stared the Croatian down while he celebrated, then pointed to him, laughing, as he ran to the corner flag.
