Per my understanding, Florentino Perez is looking to transform the socio model into a shareholding structure. The current structure does not permit the club to compete at the highest economic level in his reasoning. However this new approach will not be anything like an LLC. Member shares may not be marketed or sold to third parties. They can only be transferred to family members in keeping with the tradition of fan ownership and keeping out institutions.
