Chosen One. Either SPORTBILD reads my DTs or Juninho is all-knowing, but right on schedule reports state that Real Madrid are likely to pursue Xabi Alonso this upcoming summer. Personally, I’d be surprised if Xabi Alonso stays at Leverkusen another season so it may be now or never for Real Madrid to obtain the man many have dubbed the next great manager. My gut feeling has been that Carlo may retire end of this season but who knows. Anyway, Real Madrid will be in good hands regardless heading into 25/26.

Spheres of Influence
Papa Flo + Golden Boy. Both Jude Bellingham and Florentino Perez have been named in Sports Illustrated’s top 50 most influential figures in sports. I’ll admit I haven’t read the entire article but I’m a bit surprised Jude was included and Mbappe was not. Mbappe clears Jude in social media impressions and in my opinion general influence but I guess SI is an english media company so maybe that also plays a part. Nevertheless, congrats to both Flo + Jude.
Camo Camo Camavinga
The Return. It looks like Camavinga thankfully should be returning to the pitch soon. We truly have missed him during this early season run and his presence will be a delight regardless of our future preferred formation.
