About the Organiser

The Central University of Karnataka (CUK) is located in Kalaburagi, Karnataka, established by an Act of Parliament (No. 3 of 2009). As one of the 16 new Central Universities created during the UGC XI Plan Period to increase access to quality higher education, it occupies a sprawling 654-acre campus near Kadaganchi village.

The Department of Law was set up in 2019 with the objective of setting a new benchmark for higher legal education in India. The aim is to create a balance between teaching, learning, training, research, innovation, and skill development.

About the Event

The Department of Law at the Central University of Karnataka presents a Faculty Development Program on Human Rights. The program focuses on the theme for 2023, “Freedom, Equality, and Justice for All.” Educators, researchers, and legal practitioners would highly benefit from this program.

Important dates

The dates for the program are from 11th December 2023 to 17th December 2023. The last day for registration is the 10th of December 2023.

Roles & Responsibilities

Participants are expected to attend the full program.

This program is open for educators, researchers, and legal practitioners interested in or associated with the field of human rights.
