According to a report from MARCA, Real Madrid Castilla’s Gonzalo Garcia and Lorenzo Aguado are set to start in the Copa Del Rey against Deportivo Minera on Monday.
Real Madrid are expected to heavily rotate against Deportivo Minera, who are currently in the fourth tier of Spanish football.
They play in the same division as Real Madrid C, but in a different group — and compete in a division below Castilla.
Raul Asencio will also start for the first team on Monday, while other Castilla players such as David Jiminez, Chema Andres and Victor Munoz are also expected to make the squad list for this game.
Juvenil A’s Diego Aguado, who has made a squad list this season already, is also expected to be called up for Real Madrid’s second game of the new year.
Real Madrid will have to field at least seven first team players on the field due to Spanish football regulations, but heavy rotations are going to happen, as players like Kylian Mbappe, Lucas Vazquez and others may not even be called up.
