Three points
I don’t think the result was fair, to be honest. We put another bad performance. Real Sociedad deserved at least 2 goals. But I take the 3 points. It’s the first away game of this season we haven’t lost points. With this result, the team is unbeaten in La Liga for 37 games.
The bad news from the game is Brahim injury, which is going to be tested today, according to Carlo.
The game was covered in Immediate Reaction, Player Ratings, 3Q 3A, Numbers narrative articles. Only one comment: player ratings seem too high for the kind of performance we had. Only Carvajal received a rate less than 7 from all the defense. It makes no sense giving the bad build-up we put out there.
MM post-game podcast
Kiyan and Siddarth made the post game MM podcast.
Kiyan’s bad points about the game and the team’s moment:
- There is still some confusion on offense, with players getting on each other’s way.
- The ability to deal with high press team is a nightmare.
- The press is terrible; the defense structure is really bad.
- The finishing hasn’t been very good either.
The good points:
- No defeats in La Liga since May last season.
- Many players are coming back from injury
“You can really play worse than we are really playing right now”.
Mbappe comments about playing with Vini
Vinícius is a great player, he does a lot for Real Madrid and I am very happy to play with him. Who takes the penalties is not important, the important thing is that all four were goals.
