Militão in, Tchouameni out.
Tchouameni is basically discarded to play vs Real Sociedad. Jude is expected to be with the squad, but not as starter. Therefore, it’s likely that Modric and Valverde start. The question is whether Brahim or Güler starts with them. A good news is that Militão is likely to start the game. Let’s see if Carlo confirm any of these reports tomorrow in the press-conference.
Very busy schedule ahead
It’s 21 days until the next FIFA break, which will take place between 7 and 15 October. Real Madrid will play 7 games in this period – basically 3 games in every 3 days for the upcoming 3 weeks. including the UCL debut next week, 17 September.

Lunin has renewed his contract
Marca reported that Lunin has renewed his contract with Real Madrid until 2028. I think it’s a good news for the club, not sure it’s the best for the player. Lunin has shown last season he is a good GK and as such he should play regularly. As long Courtois is healthy and performing, we know that Lunin isn’t starting often enough. I mean, CDR games only doesn’t cut for in. Lunin has 25 years old. I think he needs some regularity to evolve his skills even more.
