Stocks plunged news: Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Friday’s session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 440.33 points up at 72085.63 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Ramky Infra(down 19.99 per cent), PayTM(down 19.99 per cent), KLRF Ltd(down 13.41 per cent), Oriental Carbon(down 12.58 per cent) and Wonder Fibromats(down 10.00 per cent) stood among the top losers in today’s trade.

In the Nifty pack, 39 stocks closed in the green, while 11 stocks ended in the red.

The index closed 156.35 points up at 21853.8.

On the BSE, PayTM, Rajratan Global, Kakatiya Text, Best Agrolife and EPACK Durables hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Punjab Sind Bank, BEML Land Assets, NBCC , Garment Mantra Life and TPL Plastech touched their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade.
