Real Madrid Femenino announce squad for return leg against Paris FC

Preview

Real Madrid are ready for the fourth matchday of the UEFA Women’s Champions League group stage. Las Blancas have recovered four players whose injuries had been going on for more than a month’s time. Linda Caicedo, Naomie Feller and Sandie Toletti are considered to be some of the most important players in the squad of which the team also grew dependent on. Kenti Robles is also back after being out for the weekend game against Levante Las Planas. However, Signe Bruun is still missing from the squad list ever since the head injury suffered in the second matchday of UWCL.

Las Blancas are currently last in the group D, with only 1 point, after losing to Paris FC a week ago. This weekend, the white club has won their first game in 3 weeks with a clean sheet after not managing to finish on a clean sheet for 7 games. The team is looking more confident now as they’ve recovered important players and got a much-needed win this Sunday.

“The players have been putting in a lot of effort lately, we’ve had a lot of problems, especially in the last month. A series of circumstances have combined to limit us a little, but the players are working very hard. They’re playing every three days. They’ve been doing really well lately,” speaks Alberto Toril in the press conference ahead of the clash with Paris FC.

The kick-off is on Wednesday, December 20th, at 21:00 CET on Alfredo Di Stefano.
