Mbappe tells Macron the announcement will be made tonight

Kylian Mbappe has revealed to French President Emmanuel Macron that ‘the announcement’ will be made tonight. The revelation came during President Macron’s routine visit to the France National Team camp as they prepare for the upcoming European Championships.

Mbappe, currently on international duty with France, is in the company of other notable Real Madrid call-ups Eduardo Camavinga, Aurelien Tchouameni, and Ferland Mendy, as well as the rest of the French players. The atmosphere at the camp was charged with anticipation and excitement as the French squad gears up for what promises to be a thrilling tournament.

The interaction between Mbappe and President Macron was captured by RMC cameras, providing a rare glimpse into the informal yet telling conversation between the footballer and the head of state. As President Macron greeted the team, he approached Mbappe with a warm, “Kylian, how are you?” to which the 25-year-old forward replied, “Good.”

The president, seizing the opportunity, inquired further about the burning question on everyone’s minds: Mbappe’s future plans. President Macron asked, “When is it announced?”

Mbappe’s response: “Tonight, tonight.”

Unless Mbappe is referring to something else (unlikely), Real Madrid could announce his signing in a matter of hours.
