Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 6.7 per cent), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(up 2.96 per cent), Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 2.68 per cent), DLF Ltd.(up 1.74 per cent) and Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(up 1.73 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Swan Energy Ltd.(down 1.62 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 2.52 per cent at 961.35 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 111.15 points at 22624.85, while the BSE Sensex was up 383.45 points at 74631.67.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 37 were trading in the green, while 13 were in the red. Shares of Vodafone Idea, IRB Infra Dev., YES Bank, Bandhan Bank and Indian Renewable were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Arvee Laboratories, Ind Swift Ltd, Sundaram Finance, Abans Holdings and Archidply Ind hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Penta Gold, Blue Coast Hotel, Gopal Snacks, SS Infrastructure and 3rd Rock MultiMedia hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
