Not yet made the switch to Windows 10? Now could be a very good time to consider moving over to this latest and greatest operating system. Microsoft recently announced a bunch of refreshed Surface laptops that are all powered by a new MacBook rivalling Snapdragon X Elite processor which not only offers improved performance but over 20 hours of battery life on a single charge. They also include a dedicated CoPilot button on the keyboard which launches this clever AI assistant with just one touch and they get access to the new Recall function which makes searching for files and content on the PC feel far more interactive.
Microsoft’s new Surface devices are impressive but these aren’t the only new laptops launching this month.
Samsung is now releasing a Galaxy Book 4 Edge that also packs the next-gen Snapdragon X Elite ARM chip under its Sapphire Blue shell. It’s claimed that PCs using this Qualcomm processor could beat the blisteringly quick MacBook M3 when it comes to sheer grunt.
The Galaxy Book 4 also comes in two sizes with both featuring stunning 2X AMOLED 120Hz screens, plenty of ports and a lightweight design for improved portability.
Prices start from £1,399 for the 14-inch model and you’ll need to pay £1,499 to take delivery of the bigger 16-inch version. That’s not cheap but, if you own a current PC, things can be reduced by up to £150 thanks to Samsung’s trade-in plan.
All you have to do is tell the firm what you currently have on your lap, see what the trade-in value is and then hand it over to Samsung.
The only thing to be aware of is that this deal is only available until July 2, 2024 so there’s not long left to take advantage.
Once the £150 has been removed from your bill the 14-inch drops to £1,249 and the 16-inch comes down to £1,349.
