Amity Law School, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow Campus is organizing VIth National Faculty Development Program’24 on “Esoteric delving into the acculturation of technology within the realms of the implementation of BNS, BNSS, and BSA and its reverberations on the landscape of legal academia from 1st July 2024 to 7th July 2024.

  • The Role of Legal Academia in Adapting to Changes in Criminal Law: Exploring how academic institutions are incorporating the new legal framework into their curriculum and research.
  • Comparative Analysis: Contrasting the pre- and post-enactment landscape of Indian Criminal Law and Criminal Jurisprudence to identify significant shifts and trends.
  • Implications for Legal Education: Examining how the introduction of new statutes influences the teaching methods, syllabi, and focus areas within legal education institutions.
  • Challenges and Opportunities for Legal Scholars: Investigating the challenges faced by legal scholars in understanding and interpreting the implications of BNS. BNSS, and BSA, as well as the opportunities for innovative research in this area.

Session Plan

  • Two sessions per day.
  • Each session shall be for 1.5 hours.

Rules & Regulations

  • The registration will be deemed completed when the registration form has been duly filled and submitted.
  • It will be mandatory to answer and submit the MCQ at the end of the Faculty Development Programme. (The MCQ legal quiz will comprise questions from all sessions.)
  • It will be mandatory to attend all the sessions.
