Real Madrid are having a truly remarkable season. Despite injury crises, Carlo Ancelotti’s men are on pace for a 99-point La Liga title, while placing themselves in a great position to win their 15th Champions League title. Along the way, they have lost to just one team — Atletico Madrid — and have slayed both Bayern Munich and Manchester City.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a successful Real Madrid run without loud skeptics trying to discredit the team along the way. Some of the English media felt Real Madrid did not deserved to advance past Manchester City. This led to a big discussion on a recent Managing Madrid Podcast, where Kiyan Sobhani, Eduardo Alvared, Mehedi Hassan, and Matt Wiltse had a conversation about the subject.
