Quick recap of RM National team games from yesterday. Brahim put in a good performance as Morocco beat Zambia 2-1. Toni Kroos (former Madrid player *cry*) + Rudi saved Germany from a Neuer mistake. Jude Bellingham got a haircut while his compatriots lost to Iceland. And Lunin sadly sat on the bench while watching Poland beat Ukrane 3-1.

I know…I know…we’re going to hear about Mbappe all summer and honestly the worst part about this transfer happening so early in the offseason is that we have to wait to see what happens. Anyway, according to Zidane himself, Mbappe is special. I feel like it isn’t in Zizou’s character to hype talents in this manner but the 3-peat manager has now stated that Mbappe will surpass everyone. (Even Rodrygo!)

Transfer News: Nacho x Davies

There are some mixed messages appearing regarding both Nacho and Davies. In the case of Nacho, it simply doesn’t seem like Nacho has made his mind up on whether he’ll return to Madrid. Allegedly, he has a deadline of end of the month to either to resign or depart. My prediction is that Nacho renews. The Yoro connection seems to be a bit gray and from my understanding the player isn’t pressing Lille to only sell to Madrid as much as Spanish media depicts.

Regarding Davies, it does appear that conversations are occurring between Bayern and Davies’ camp. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Vincent Kompany required Davies for the future of the club and his preferred tactics. Real Madrid still seem very interested and it is still noticeable on how Mendy has not yet been renewed. I expect this to be resolved by end of the month.
