About the Organiser
The Gujarat Legal Rights Consortium is a part of the Women?s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI).
This group envisions Global Impact for Women Entrepreneurs, Business women, and Professionals from all walks of life. With strong global networks and leaders worldwide, they drive changes in policies and entrepreneurial ecosystems to empower women in commerce across all sectors.
About the Opportunity
The membership is open to female law students of India. It involves a commitment to promoting and protecting rights in India. The applicants would be joining the State Legal Rights Consortium for the term 2024-2025.
Dedication towards Legal Rights, raising awareness about public rights, providing legal assistance and engaging with lawmakers for shaping laws are few of the main tasks of the consortium.
Location
The mode of membership is hybrid.
Eligibility Criteria
Only women who are Law students from a university recognised by the Bar Council of India are eligible. Prior experience interning with legal organisations and adeptness with design programs like Adobe or Canva is a must.
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Member, a student will be working closely with other Consortium leaders.
Efforts towards strategic planning, hands-on community engagement and high-impact proposal development are the major responsibilities, which are vital for realising the consortium’s vision for a change.
Duration
The tenure of the internship is for one year.
Deadline
the last date to apply is February 01, 2024.
Certification
Certificates will be provided only upon the completion of the entire tenure of one year.
